*Countries which signed legal assistance treaties with Ukraine and therefore do not require legalization of documents
** Ukraine raised an objection to Kosovo joining the Hague Convention of 1961, therefore the Convention does not apply in relations between Ukraine and Kosovo, apostille shall not be affixed to documents to be used in the territory of Kosovo.
Consular legalization is required for countries which are not parties to the Hague Convention. Among them are: Canada, China (except for Hong Kong and Macau), Iran, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Vietnam and more.
